Steps:
Crack eggs into a shallow dish and add ½ tsp salt and whisk together with a fork. Set aside.
Melt a knob of butter and a little bit of oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Dip one bread slice at a time into the egg mixture so that the bread is well covered on both sides. Use an egg lifter to turn the bread over in egg mixture. Transfer bread directly to warm skillet.
Cook until golden brown on both sides.
Remove French toast from skillet using egg lifter and place on paper towel to drain excess.
Repeat steps 3, 4, 5 till done cooking all bread slices. Remember to switch off the stove.
Serve warm French toast with your topping of choice. Enjoy!
