Frozen smoothie jars

Time saver right here guys. Love smoothies and the bonus with these are that they can be made ahead of time and frozen. You pull’em out the night before and let them thaw in the fridge. Family-friendly recipe for sure, everyone can pitch in for this one. These are frozen in freezer-safe glass jars. A great breakfast on the go for sure. We normally make these over the weekend when we do meal prep for the coming week.
Our family loves this smoothie recipe made with everyday ingredients. Feel free to try out your own variations to cater to your family’s taste, preference, and needs.

  • Peel bananas, cut up roughly, add to blender.
  • Add yogurt to the blender with a tablespoon, add juice to the blender. Blend the whole lot up to and divide it into 4 jars.
  • Normally when there’s some smoothie leftover when jars are full, we just drink it.
  • Be sure to leave some room at the top of the glass jar.
  • Place cap back on jar and place in freezer.
  • To enjoy, take these out the night before and let them thaw naturally in the fridge.
